This is a great series. It’s thorough and well structured. I’ve worked my way through the three posts so far and look forward to the last one. I have a question though? Where does lore fit into Worldbuilding? I find there’s bit of confusion on the matter. Your thoughts will be appreciated.

Lore and mythology are a part of culture. I would consider them the cousins of what people value. Religion, folklore, and customs can be separate, but often go hand in hand. Lore often represents the values of a community and is used to teach people how to behave and what's expected of them. Believing in or rebelling against these kinds of values, customs, and ideas can shape a character.
